# Files for agents

Every published docs site serves these, built at push from the same pages people read.

| Path | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| `/llms.txt` | Every page in the navigation, by group, with its title, its Markdown address and its description. |
| `/llms-full.txt` | Every page's Markdown in one file, in navigation order, then the reference. Very large sites are cut at a fixed size, with a note at the end. |
| `/<page>.md` | Any page as Markdown. A request with `Accept: text/markdown` gets the same at the page's own address. |
| `/skill.md` | An agent skill describing the site and pointing at the rest. Put a `skill.md` in your folder to use your own. |
| `/reference.md` | The project's API reference as Markdown, once the reference is published. |
| `/mcp` | The docs MCP server, below. |
| `/mcp/server-card` and `/.well-known/mcp` | The MCP server's card, as `application/mcp-server-card+json`. |
| `/.well-known/ai-catalog.json` | An AI Catalog pointing at that card, as `application/ai-catalog+json`. |

## The docs MCP server

Each site has its own MCP server at `/mcp`, with no key, since the docs are public once published. Its tools are read-only:

| Tool | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `search_docs` | Full-text search over every page, answering each match's title, URL and a snippet. |
| `read_page` | One page as Markdown, by the path `search_docs` or `list_pages` gives. |
| `list_pages` | The navigation: groups of pages with their URLs. |

Its calls count against a daily number per site: see [Plans and limits](../get-started/plans-and-limits#docs). Past it, a call answers that the day's limit is reached, and when it resets.
