# Agent analytics

On Pro and up, the project's MCP page links **Agent analytics**: a month of tool calls, by tool and by client, each with its calls, errors and the time your API took to answer.

## Which client called

Each call is put down to the client that made it, with only its major version kept, such as `Claude Code 2.x`:

| Label | How the client is known |
| --- | --- |
| Declared | The client named itself when it connected. |
| Inferred | Only its `User-Agent` names it. |

Known families, such as Claude Code, Claude, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini, are named the same way whatever their exact build. A client nothing names is `unknown`.

## What's kept, and what isn't

Only daily totals per tool and client are stored, and older days are deleted as new ones come in. Never the arguments, the answers, the caller's address or the key.

The month's tool calls across the workspace, which count against your plan, are on the MCP page too: see [Plans and limits](../get-started/plans-and-limits#mcp).
